Long before a person becomes visibly different, an internal shift may already be taking place.
A boundary forms before it is spoken.
A cycle ends internally before someone walks away.
A new version of self exists as possibility before it becomes behavior.
Form catches up to consciousness.

Symbols live at the threshold between what can be seen and what can only be understood, remembered, or felt.
